Walmart Food Series
overview.
The Walmart Food Series ran on Walmart’s in-store TV network. The goal of the project was to provide shoppers with affordable meal ideas featuring store brands. Each spot focused on a single meal idea centered around either back-to-school or holiday entertaining. There were a total of 10 spots between the two events. In collaboration with a copywriter, I was responsible for final recipe selection, storyboard development, shoot supervision, and art direction.

Using each recipe as a guide, I mapped out the framing and action for each spot with a series of rough sketches. During sketch development, I worked to ensure each spot utilized similar scenes and camera angles to simplify the shoot day and help ease production costs. I then tightened up those sketches for client presentation and production.
